Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Labrador’s accessibility testing platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

Description of Service

Labrador provides a web-based platform for conducting WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) compliance audits and VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) assessments, including audit management, progress tracking, team collaboration, and report generation.

User Accounts

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service unlawfully, upload malicious content, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, use automated tools without permission, create multiple accounts to avoid payment, or reverse engineer our software.

Subscription and Payment

Subscription fees are billed in advance monthly and processed through Stripe. All sales are final; we do not offer refunds for subscription fees. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the billing period. Pricing changes come with 30 days’ notice, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, including audit data, screenshots, and reports. You grant us a license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide our services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to audit the websites and applications you analyze.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Audit results, reports, and assessments are for informational purposes only and are not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance with any accessibility standard, law, or regulation, including the ADA, the European Accessibility Act, Section 508, or WCAG. You are solely responsible for verifying results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Labrador is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination and Data Retention

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms; you may cancel at any time through account settings. After cancellation or termination, data is retained for 90 days to allow reactivation or export, then permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, United States. Disputes are first addressed through good-faith negotiation, then through the state or federal courts located in Maine.
