Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our accessibility testing platform.

What happens when I've used up my project capacity?

When you reach your plan's project limit, you'll need to either delete existing projects to make room for new ones, or upgrade to a higher plan with more project capacity. We'll notify you when you're approaching your limit and provide options to upgrade seamlessly without losing any of your work or team access.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, giving you instant access to additional projects and features. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you're approaching your plan limits, we'll notify you and suggest appropriate upgrade options.

What makes Labrador different from automated accessibility tools?

Labrador focuses on guided manual testing that catches the critical accessibility issues automated tools miss. While automated tools can only detect about 30% of accessibility issues, our guided approach helps you identify real-world barriers that affect users with disabilities. We complement automated testing with comprehensive manual evaluation workflows.

Can I test both WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 standards?

Yes! All plans include support for both WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2 standards across all conformance levels (A, AA, AAA). You can choose your target standard and conformance level when setting up each audit project. Our platform also supports VPAT 2.5 (WCAG version) reporting for government and enterprise compliance requirements.

How does team collaboration work?

Team collaboration is included in the Plus plan and above. You can invite team members to your projects, assign specific pages or criteria for testing, track progress across your team, and maintain consistent testing standards. Team members can add comments, upload screenshots, and document findings collaboratively. You can also set teammates to view-only or developer access if clients want to review findings within Labrador without making changes or you want to give limited access (teammates in developer mode can only change remediation status and add comments).

What kind of reports can I generate?

Labrador generates comprehensive HTML reports that include executive summaries, detailed findings, screenshots, and remediation guidance. Reports are formatted for easy sharing with stakeholders, developers, and compliance teams. We also provide VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) documentation and Word document exports suitable for procurement and compliance processes. You can also export in CSV format in two different ways – either a Jira-ready CSV optimized for ticketing, or a more detailed CSV designed for flexible use in whatever way you prefer to organize your data.

Do you offer training or onboarding support?

We are working on getting documentation together for onboarding users but in the meantime you can book a 1 on 1 demo of Labrador below or through the homepage, and we are also available in minutes via the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of the website from 9am-5pm GMT and EDT on weekdays.
